Part V — The Operating Model

Structure and authority describe what the organization is. The operating model describes what it does every week. Part V sets out the cadence of a hybrid organization, how work moves through it from system to human and back, the feedback loops that reveal what is actually happening in the execution surface, and why AI initiatives are embedded into that model rather than launched beside it. It ends by turning the model on the governance function itself.
